In The Colorless Boy, two boys divided by society beliefs are compelled to defy the rules and bridge friendship. Believing in something greater unleashes a house of magic, which ultimately leads one of the boys to witness his true reflection for the first time.

Self-identity and expression are thought to be the cause of all atrocities in the world. Because of it, colors were banned and all things, including people, were stripped of their color. Jasper’s colorless skin and world is all he has ever known, though he has always sensed a dullness to it all. He knew it lacked something, he just never understood what that was. That is, until one day he happens across a rare colorful home tucked away in the woods and a shockingly colorful boy whose encounter both entrances and terrifies Jasper.

The colors stir that something in Jasper’s heart and he wonders how something so beautiful could be dangerous? The questions spool in his mind, urging him to seek more, to re-experience the extra beat in his pulse when his eyes witnessed the greens, reds, and purples.

Curiosity, kindness and two open hearts unite the boys, and together they embark on a journey through the magic rooms in the colorful house.
